The escapists reddit5/6/2023 ![]() then again, you cant answer that question. Why in the heck is google analytics in your startup process/routine of the game. google analytics is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ browser script which tracks what you do in your web browser to optimize the search on and giving you recomendations depending on which sites you was etc. i have the opinion that google analytics shouldnt be in a game startup process/routine. Hopefully tomorow morning there is another update to fix this bug for me. Obviously i am not a coder so my knowlege is very limited. The Google AnalyticsV3 is the only thing i could see from reading the script that went wrong. I am not sure what is wrong, i have no problem playing anyother game in my library. I am not sure what it is, i have posted to another DEV on a differnt thread and still nothing Originally posted by Goudda:Yes this program has full rights. please provide the error log, output log and your DXdiag infos to them. i hope they give you a respond.Īnd if they did. i dont think google analytics should be at all in the startup process o_o still, i wouldnt recommend this since this looks really suspicious for me. you could go into your steamapps folder, look the escapists 2 up rightclick your exe, open the propertys from the exe and give the exe full rights. but i would recommend to not do that since i am not sure if that is a virus. I could tell you now a trick which may works. do you have that problem with other games too? cause if yes should you maybe look up if that thing isnt a virus which trys to infect the game exe and wants to do stuff which your windows maybe blocks. i dont think google analytics should be in your game startup process at all o_Oīecause i see nowhere google analytics (i even went with the editor trough the output log to search for it) in my startup process. you cant answer that question cause you dont know that either but. ![]() why interrupts a browser script from a website (which is google) the startup from your game o_o? ok. what has google analytics to do with the game? In the direct x9 mode need i not to minimize the game >ww< vause in direct x11 mode need i to skip the loading screen (like explained yesteday) as soon i find the option *starts game* this may leads into a double post if noone writes after me XD! ok. or, if the game loads now without crashing :O I've reached out to Naughty Dog for more information, and will update if I receive a reply.Originally posted by Chiro:hmmm now if you guys really did that can i now really test if it is REALLY my direct x that i need to skip the crash with my sneaky minimize trick.
